Са́нкт-Петербу́рг (Day 3, Россия)

Pistachio and raspberry sorbet with mint leaves.
My main dish: Chicken Kiev with a side of potatoes.

Pelmeni dumplings.
A cold cabbage and sour cream salad served with a poach egg.
A cucumber, tomato, and radish salad with dill.

We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. Here is a photograph of three types of yeast balls: mushroom, meat, and potato.
We were sitting directly across from Peter the Great.

White and gray bread.
Here's some pickled cucumbers I ordered to go with my vodka.
For dinner, we went to a restaurant called Czar.

The famous statue of Pushkin (the pigeons love it).
The Russian Museum.
A beautiful temple by the market place.

The Hermitage.

Lunch.
Sorry to anyone who reads my blog, I have been seriously slacking on my duties. Back-track to August and my trip to Russia. Here is Day 3, Saint Petersburg.

Traditional potato pancakes.
Dinner.

Beautiful Peterhof.
Dad and and I towards the side of the Hermitage.

Our hotel from across the street.
Yishnitza with veggies.

At breakfast, each cup of coffee came with a plate of these babies. They are pretty similar to baklava.
