Independence Weekend- Thursday- Daniel's

Brownies (we shared these for dessert).

This is terribly belated. My parents, my sister, our cousin Lauren, and I went out to Daniel's the Thursday before 4th of July weekend. This is the wine we drank, and the food I ate (as I spared everyone the waiting that involves in photographing their food).

Extended Kirch Family BBQ

Dessert: Chocolate chip bundt cake.

Dinner: sausages, hamburgers, salad, chicken.

Lunch: Portugal pepper and whole wheat roll with turkey, horseradish cheddar, and spicy brown mustard.

My brother Michael, sister-in-law Stephanie, and little niece Lil visited us down the shore at the end of June. Here is what we ate.

Cookie Monster

A new ice cream flavor has been added to Hoffman's repertoire this summer. Many fear to try it due to its intense (artificial) coloring. However, I don't discriminate against ice cream based on its color, but by the content of its character. And this tastes awesome.

For JoJo's birthday dinner, we went to Lure Fishbar. I had just gotten my nose reset after breaking it (long story short, I was taking a photograph at a concert and a flying pelvis hit my in the shnozz). Everyone totally thought I got in a fight or in touch with a plastic surgeon because of my stupid cast. The food, however, was deeeelicious.

Little Miss JoJo turned 24 on the 22nd of June. We went to lunch with her mama at Risotteria, as both JoJo and Saara are gluten-intolerant. I am very tolerant of gluten, but I still enjoyed the food very much!

"Diana, Diana- Who is Diana? She's my cousin."-6-year old Regina Kirch. And she is my cousin as well. For her birthday on June 12th, the family got together at her house in Mamaroneck for an early dinner.
