Oasis with Jared and Anthony

I am very far behind, so bear with me please. On Jared's actual birthday (March 13th), he, Anthony, and I stopped at Oasis for falafels. I got a falafel plate with everything on it.

(aged).

Main dish: grilled hangar steak with sauteed mushrooms.
Appetizer: breaded octopus salad with mandurin oranges and arugula.
Focaccia bread.
Went to (aged) with my parents and Gina before heading to Brooklyn for Jared's birthday party on the 12th.

Taste of Italy with Allie and Alex

Complementary house limoncello.
Another shot of my ravioli with some parmesan on top.
Allie's homemade lobster ravioli.
Alex's gorgonzola gnocchi.
My homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli.
The Friday before last, Allie, Alex, and I set out to find some Vietnamese food, but stumbled upon this little Italian restaurant and decided to go there instead. We were glad we did; the food was excellent, and we got the best seat in the restaurant.

An Accidentally Heart-Shaped Loaf of Bread

Check out this sweet heart-shaped slice of 7-grain bread I came across a couple weeks ago.

Japonica

Went to Japonica with Dustin for a post-movie late lunch a few hours after the Park Slope brunch party. Wasn't in the mood for sushi, so I got a house salad and chicken teriyaki.

The Rub and The Rose Water

I got a poached, pestoed, egg au gratin over broccoli rabe and butternut squash. Deeeelicious.
Here's Allie's dish: two eggs over easy, home fries, salad, rye, and bacon. Winston and Dan got the same thing, only with scrambled eggs.
I ordered coffee and OJ with my meal. Winston and Allie got this pear ginger drink (you can see Winston's behind the coffee).
After a long night of dancing, Winston, Dan, Allie and I recharged with an organic Sunday brunch in Park Slope.

Kebabs with Allie

On the first Saturday of March, before going to a serious dance party with Winston, Dan, Jordan, Guin, Will, and Michelle, Allie and I picked up some kebabs by her place. I got a chicken kebab, she got lamb. But I was way hungrier than her (she had downed a few scallops before the kebab place), so I ate half of her kebab. Gave me lots of energy for our crazy dancefest.
