I am so very glad you were born.

Петерго́ф (Day 2, Россия).

Traditional potato pancakes.
Dinner.

Beautiful Peterhof.
Dad and and I towards the side of the Hermitage.

Our hotel from across the street.
Yishnitza with veggies.

At breakfast, each cup of coffee came with a plate of these babies. They are pretty similar to baklava.

Са́нкт-Петербу́рг (day 1, Россия).

Dad fell asleep while we were waiting for our check. I think he was a bit jet-lagged.
Beefstroganoff.
You eat it with sour cream (the Russians love sour cream).

This is a traditional Russian soup with dill and a beet root base.

(Whose arm is whose?)

Babochka restaurant.

There's a lot of beautiful architecture in St. Petersburg.

So was this lovely fruit platter.
When we arrived at our hotel suite, this gorgeous chocolate platter was sitting on the coffee table.
So I just got back from Russia. I am going to primarily post pictures, because I doubt anyone reads my historical notes anyway. I will also spare you any airplane food or snacks.
