Taste of Nola: Day 2

Pecan pie with a dark chocolate crust.
Bread pudding.
Key-lime pie.
Cauliflower au gratin.
A very minimalist dish: blackened drum with butter sauce.
Heart of palm salad with cherry tomatoes, green beans, butter lettuce, and a Creole mustard vinagrette.
Gina's oysters Rockefellar. Delicious sauce.
Many loaves of fresh bread.
Maker's on the rocks.
Dinner at Gallatoire's. Natasha was too full to join us for this meal, but my family and I are really fat-hearted. I just photographed my dishes for this one.
Cheesecake.
Chocolate-pecan pie.
Java.
Strawberry shortcake.
Desserts: bread pudding.
Two run farms beef debris and poached eggs.

Pecan crusted drum with crab sauce.
Pork and mashed potatoes.
Oyster and absinth puff.
I managed to snap a shot of quite a few of the dishes at our table. The Commander's salad.
These were the best biscuits I have ever had. In. My. Life.
A few Bloody Marys, extra spicy of course.
Garlic bread.
Brunch at the Commander's Palace. The way the menu works is you choose an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert from the menu. We also got some biscuits for the table.
